Martin Luther King day . Keeping the Dream Alive.

I’m writing this post on the in which we observe Martin Luther King’s birthday, and thought that referencing his “I have a dream” speech would be a fitting way to honor this great man by reconnecting with Dr. King’s message. To simply see this speech as a call to freedom for people of color misses his underlying messages of Oneness. This is the concept, that at our soul levels we are all the same.  It is the illusion of separation that is the obstacle that we have erected ourselves, that keeps us from moving forward.     When we awaken to understand that the obstacle to our evolving is not a condition that can be resolved out there, but instead  instead is a block that resides within ourselves. The day that we begin to tear down the walls that separate ourselves is the day that we start the process of claiming our birth right as the creators of the New Earth.                                                                                      Check out “I Have a Dream” at : http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/mlkihaveadream.htm
