John CrosbyAs an Architect
I have over two decades of experience in working as an Architect and Designer with Fortune 100 & 500 companies in creating work settings that reinforced brand and business strategies. I became a success by all of the external measures as a Partner and a Director with a large national multi-practice design firm, pulling down over six figures.

I realized…
There was a missing piece. I became haunted by that knowing deep within, that I was becoming more and more removed from my inspiration – from my true self. I was becoming increasingly disconnected from what had led me to choose the design industry in the first place.

My Perspective
Life has a way of communicating with us if we are not following our passions, or are not in alignment with what is really important to us. But as a type ‘A’ personality in overdrive I was not about to listen to the more subtle urgings of my soul to stop and take notice. I had an ego driven agenda based on external stimuli that was propelling me blindly toward a cliff…

The Start to a New Journey
My soul, in alignment with my body, chose to catch my attention in a more direct way. This was with a big 2×4 right upside my head! One week after having a double by-pass I was at home recuperating and made my way very tentatively down the hall to the kitchen to turn on the TV and check out what was happening in the world since I’d been away. When the TV came on an image of a plane hitting the World Trade Tower confronted me, it was 9/11. I was brought quite suddenly to the inescapable understanding that life had indeed definitely caught my attention, and that things would never be the same again. I still didn’t have a clue as to what to do next, but my journey to creating a new life for myself had begun.
