Help me I’ve fallen and I can’t get up…well then clap your hands for god’s sake…or better yet create a New Belief that serves who you want to become.

The obstacle that is in the way and can be a block if not our undoing this year is one that is a very common affliction that most of us are eminently familiar with… Being STUCK along with it’s old side kick’s called Self-destruction and Self- punishment. Ever heard of those two tag team partners???  Many of us have…but do not despair, there is a way out.

It is the fear that life has no meaning, that you are powerless or even better yet a victim of forces beyond your control, that sets you up for your undoing. That is when you are most apt to settle into a state of despondency in which you question, “what am I doing here anyway?, and why does it even matter?”… ” I can’t make any sense of it, so to hell  with it, I will live it up an indulge myself…after all what do I have to loose?”  Obviously, this attitude can lead to addictions and substance abuse, in other words, self-destructive behavior in which we engage because at some level we don’t believe that we deserve better.  That we are NOT WORTHY .                                                                                           As stated on an earlier post: “Keep it simple.”, because choices either go For Life or Against Life. So, it is absolutely critical that you make choices that serve who you want to become….On the other hand all of the best intentions, resolutions and positive affirmations in the world will not address the underlying cause of those old self limiting beliefs . You all remember hearing what the road to hell is lined with………………………

There is a method that I have employed as part of my coaching practice in which I work with my clients to identify old self limiting beliefs and then use a Psych-K Process that I have been trained in for creating a New Belief that serves who you want to become. There is more to this than this short description can identify, but suffice to say that great things can happen when  we create new Self Empowering Beliefs.

TIP! : Try starting the day this way…each morning you repeat the following Belief:  ” I AM WORTHY of living a happy, balanced and abundant life doing the things THAT I LOVE.”  and step back and see where things go from there.                Note! ; If nothing changes you’ll want to connect with someone trained in Psych-K and creating New Belief systems.

How we express our goals will be experienced through the lens of  SPIRITUALITY which is a mystical way of looking at the world, looking at what’s possible and seeing ourselves as truly the creators of everything that happens in our lives. When we step up and out of our everyday selves by creating a bigger picture and not getting lost in the details or focusing on what’s going on right now we open ourselves up to the power of possibility. Think or yourself as a Hawk or an Eagle. Feel your newly acquired wings and take flight, for this is the way through which you will envision your goal.   It is about looking at the Macro scale, taking the long view, and seeing the big picture…So take a moment to cease being a mouse that is running around in the grass, constantly jumping up for a better look while seeking out the “cheese”, and become a Hawk or an Eagle.

Spirituality can produce enlightenment for many people during these times due to the increasing frequency of the energy on the planet.  In addition, this energy allows you to step up and out of the status quo and to to have a long range vision of what you want to create in your life.  However, be on the look out for sliding into resignation as the shadow aspect of this is being stuck in one’s old beliefs, and resigning to giving up on WHAT YOU WANT. Do not give in to becoming jaded, and creating self fulfilling prophesies in which you attract in what we desire least, i.e. “I’d love to change my life, but every one’s lost their job so I might as well just give up and wait this out, and not take any action because doing anything is just a waste of my time.”

TIP! : Seeking out your own truth from a new bigger perspective while flying high with your newly acquired wings will become critical.

If I only had a Heart….

What will be the catalyst for making things happen in the new year? How can you accomplish the goals that you have set for yourself? The answer is,  PASSION,  which is particularly fortuitous, because Passion is what creates the energy that will help to create the momentum that will drive you forward, to take the necessary risks and to open the door to expressing what it is that you want, you must first feel that burning desire deep down inside. This year there will be fewer boundaries or obstacles that get in the way.  So you will find yourselves being naturally drawn to others that are being passionate about their devotion to causes and changes in their own lives and on the planet.  Buyer beware, however because Passion’s shadow is about being too Reserved, so you should remind yourself to express yourself and not to keep closed up and inhibited if this is typically a default response for you. You will need to develop the skills to communicate how you feel, what you want and then to make a request for how you want to see things moving forward. Don’t be afraid to demand it from the universe and your guides.

TIP! : The extra ingredient here, that will grease the skids and help to make things manifest when making your request for what you want, is to remember all the while that you are One with those that you are making the request of and that there is no separation between you.

Are you ready for your close up? Having a well formed Belief Statement will help make sure you are.

The compliment to Surrender is ACTION, and NOW is the time to  step forward into your new movie in which you are the director, the script writer, and the actor. You will want to devote or dedicate yourself to taking some form of positive action. It is truly the time to begin your journey in earnest and to finally put your foot in the water, and as they say, “go ahead and come on in, the water’s fine.”

Yes it is finally time to “walk the talk”, by leading from example out in the world or within your family or place of business.  So create a goal and put your stake in the ground and claim your intention for moving forward to see it realized. Do you know how you can help and facilitate that goal’s actually coming true?      A good place to start is by establishing a  New Belief Statement for your goal.

Here’s how to create a well formed Belief Statement: 1.  The belief statement is in the first person, 2. it’s in the present tense, 3. It is positive,  4. it is short and sweet, 5. It is something that engenders feelings in you.

So go ahead and commit to creating a new belief statement right now. If you are having trouble with that, here’s and example of one that might help give you a sense for what a well formed belief statement looks like. ” I am worthy of living a happy, balanced, abundant life, doing the things that I love.” Go ahead and say it out loud, and as many times as you like and then step forward to take an action from that new deeply held belief.

TIP! : The ANSWER : Create a new goal, Develop a well formed belief statement, then take action toward that goal, but without attachment to the outcome.

“Don’t worry be happy…”

That song by Bob Marley should be the new national anthem for the New Earth. It would jump start things in 2010 to SURRENDER, by creating a vision for something bigger than we are and then surrendering to it by getting ourselves out of the way. You do this by trusting in yourself, that you are in good hands, and that all is in perfect and divine order. Learn to depend upon surrender, or rather turning things over to a higher power that knows more than you do from your limited 3D perspective and then get out of your own way. When you get out of your own way,  you enable the Universe to enter and to assist you in every way. This is because the Universal life force energy has a “knowingness” that transcends your ability to understand and will always work along side of your soul plan, trumping the efforts of the denser energies of our ego.

So get ready for another way of Being in which you are operating in accordance with the Laws of the Universe. That would be the Laws of Attraction. The interesting thing about the Universe is that it is actually in place and ready to fulfill your dreams, to bring you what you want.

Unfortunately for some reason, somehow, at some point in time we lost what we had originally understood, that we were of divine origin, and as these “little gods” we understood our roles as creators. Because we have lost our knowledge of this power we find ourselves embedded instead within an illusion.  One in which we place ourselves and our old self limiting beliefs in the way of the Universe delivering the goods to us.

So how do you put your purchase order out there and have what you want show up?

First start by opening up to the possibility that everything is energy and that energy operates in ways in which like attracts like. Think of yourself for a moment that you are a magnet or better yet Velcro. When we send out our thoughts as energy in the a pursuit of something we are passionate about the universe will reflect back to you as abundance, and a a result you will be attracting in more of the same. In this case prosperity will stick to you because you are already in a mindset of abundance as you are engaged in what you enjoy and are passionate about.

TIP! : The Universe acts as a mirror, with everything that you feel or think is recorded and reflects that back to you.

TIP!: The Key is to know what you want and then get out of of your own way, by being open, curious, receptive and unattached in your approach to what happens next.

“Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?”

“Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!” That famous introduction for the radio show The Shadow, that starred a vigilante with psychic powers, and narrated by Orson Wells seems particularly suited to this aspect of ourselves. The shadow aspect of Creating is self deception and illusion, so you must be careful not to delude yourselves into thinking  you’re making progress and changing when you’re still stuck in old habits and ways of doing things.     We have been so conditioned by meeting everyone else’s expectations and pleasing others that many of my clients often have no response to that question when I first ask it.  Remember to just be patient with yourself and the process and understand that even if you don’t fully understand what is happening, there is something out there that does.

TIP! : Think of yourself as an integrated whole and LOVE all of your respective parts. So embrace the Shadow aspects of yourself, the ones that you typically like to disown, because they ARE part of you even if they don’t fit the image of how you present yourself to the world outside.

“Please release me let me go….”

Those lyrics by Engelbert Humperdinck give us a clue as to what will best put us in a position to move forward in 2010. If nothing else, just saying his name out loud a few times is a cause for joy.

It is a time for bringing in the Hindu goddess Shiva’s energy for destroying and transforming whatever is not working or serving you in your life. OK now before you head for the hills and look for a metaphorical rock to hide under, consider that rebirth and decay are natural characteristics of all forms of creation and evolution, whether personal, biological or cultural. They really are two sides of the same coin, in which the old must be released before the new can arrive.

Continuing to live in the status quo will not be an option. If you dig in and refuse to move forward, the old dial will just be turned up a notch or two and things will begin to feel so constricting and uncomfortable that you may feel as if your skin was about to burst at the seams. On the other hand you maybe part of the crowd that just opts for sticking it out with a strategy of strapping yourself to the slowly moving downward spiral. If  that’s the case, get ready for feeling stuck accompanied by a general sense of on going malaise, while the intercom continues to announce the need to leave the premises. Some of you are only too well aware that you have outlived your present set of circumstances and that it is time for you to do something different, outside the box, that addresses what you really want in life.

It’s not as if I’m not sympathetic to what you are going through. I fully understand that while this present situation made up of old self limiting beliefs maybe a prison of your own making it is at least familiar territory. That coupled with the fact that the new life that you longing to move into and occupy hasn’t arrived yet.

I’ve been there and just want to say that before you run back into that rut that you’ve dug yourself into, that you stop and entertain the notion for a moment that your future self is in the works and on the way. Your future self that may appear from your present vantage point to be rather undefined and pretty hard to wrap your arms around is being formed within an intricately designed system in which change, and  the unknown are just a couple of the ingredients in the cosmic recipe for what happens next. Remember to just be patient with yourself and the process and understand that even if you don’t fully understand what is happening, there is something out there that does.

Question : If you saw your future self moving down an assembly line toward the shipping department, wouldn’t you want to have a say in what the final outcome is?  Of course you would, so take the time NOW to influence that outcome by making the choices  that will impact that outcome later, remembering the whole time that you are participating in a perfectly designed system.

It’s about letting go, moving out the old, restructuring, stepping into what you are really passionate about. Everything will fall out from there, because your energy is in what you are passionate about, and Prosperity is just more energy. being attracted by your passion.

TIP!: Let go of your old self limiting beliefs and Create New Beliefs.  It’s what is necessary for the new you to arrive.

“Calling all Alchemists…calling all Alchemists….”

This year you will see that CREATING will be the new alchemy for the new year, and that that chemistry can be leveraged by the acquisition of SELF KNOWLEDGE. This is the time to see Life as really a Lab in which to create a New You.

What this means, is that things are all set up and primed for this to become a highly creative year and those creations are more likely to happen when you acquire the knowledge of who you really are and what you really want. By manifesting from your new place of KNOWING, deep within,  you can reshape and remold yourself and the world around you into the vision that you have held for yourself for a long time now. In fact, ever since you first entered the planet along with your soul contract as another new incarnation…it’s time to reconnect with your reason for being here.

Creators tend not to be linear thinkers and instead operate within a elliptical venue, a cycle within a cycle, within a cycle. Not unlike those cute Russian dolls with one nested within the other, within the other, etc… So this will most likely not be a year in which you move forward in a straight line. It could feel a bit disconcerting, as you are not only stepping out into a new setting by making the necessary changes, but also as a result witnessing and feeling the changes that are occurring around you.

The acquisition of “Knowingness” is also often a good counter balance, with it’s grounded, stabilizing effect upon the energy of Creation.  Knowledge gathering  provides the basis for making informed decisions that are  underpinned by a strong foundation, and as a result you are able to run with a decision once you make it because all systems are in alignment and say GO!

Thus it’s a great time to investment in your own personal growth by reaching out for new solutions, for finding programs, processes and guides that will help you to create the solutions to your old problems that have had you stuck. So do your soul work research, and continue to invest in taking that deeper dive into knowing both yourself and the universe around you.

Time to Sieze the Moment my friends … it’s going to be A Big, Bold & Beautiful New Year!

I just wanted to thank you all for sharing your life with me in 2009 and to also share with you that things are definitely being put into motion to help in manifesting what we desire for 2010. This point in time presents an incredible opportunity to set our intentions for the new year. The cosmic alignment that is in place has created a particularly fertile time in which we can plant our seed for the dream of which we wish to have happen in 2010. If we consciously set about creating that vision NOW, from this point on our intentions will build up a head of steam that creates an unstoppable momentum. This will create the SHIFT that will allow for you to finally begin to see how your intentions begin to manifest in the new world in this coming year. That is why it is so important to go within and see what your True Self is urging you forward to create at this time in your life.

TRENDS, TIPS & INFLUENCES FOR 2010: “temet nosce”, aka, “Know Thyself”

We are moving away from a success/achievement ego based orientation, where bigger is always better and has been the definition of that success. That is because the prevailing societal trends of unlimited economic growth and material consumption are not sustainable. The coming together of like minded souls within communities, with a shared common vision for a new world will inspire others and eventually lead to cooperation among nations.  This cooperation and an understanding that  we are all one will begin to trump conflict as the preferred method for resolution.  Nations and cultures will come to honor one another as part of a global family, regardless of differences in race, religion, nationality and sexual identity.

As a result you will begin to see a SHIFT to new relationships, first with ourselves, then with others, and the planet. Ones that are more sustainable, in which we come to understand that we are all One and that separation is an illusion. The critical first step is the one that we are developing with our selves.  To KNOW THYSELF.  I always took note that the Latin version of this aphorism is written on the plaque above the Oracle’s door in the movie the “Matrix” film series,  where it is written in non traditional Latin ; temet nosce, ( “thine own self thou must know.”)

TIP! : As we are moving way from an older energy that has dominated this planet for almost 2000 years and into a new age of higher energy, look for your own personal guide that is already on the other side and can help to escort you from the old into a what has been described as, “ascending into a more mature SOUL based HIGHER ENERGY here on planet earth.”

I’m writing this post on the in which we observe Martin Luther King’s birthday, and thought that referencing his “I have a dream” speech would be a fitting way to honor this great man by reconnecting with Dr. King’s message. To simply see this speech as a call to freedom for people of color misses his underlying messages of Oneness. This is the concept, that at our soul levels we are all the same.  It is the illusion of separation that is the obstacle that we have erected ourselves, that keeps us from moving forward.     When we awaken to understand that the obstacle to our evolving is not a condition that can be resolved out there, but instead  instead is a block that resides within ourselves.
